The Black Forest sprawls across the bulk of the valley, its ancient trees blocking out all but the weakest sunlight from above. Crystalline formations grow from the ground, emitting a faint glow in the dim lighting.

Located to the north of the Black Forest, the Borealis Lake sits on an elevated plateau and feeds the main river that flows into the Eldmere Sea. Its bed is lined with a number of crystals and it is so clear it seems to hold the stars within its waters at night.

The Cradle encircles the Black Forest, covering the lower hills of the mountains. Hardwood trees are interspersed between fields of snowdrops, and it is a known birthing place for deer.

Above the treeline of the Black Forest, the Faded Fields exists. This mountainous environment is rocky and covered in sparse vegetation but stands closest to the sky.

The Sea of Sand is a land of endless dunes, surrounded by craggy mountains that scrape the sky. Water can be found in small, hidden pools. It is always night here and offers a peaceful desolation to those who seek it.

The Breach is a deep canyon, with a small river of red-tinged water running through it. Strange, organic growths protrude from the ground and give off a pleasant warmth.

The Scorched Forest is a land eternally aflame. Streams of lava run between the scattered trees. What water there is to be found here is always tepid, and small embers float through the air. Surprisingly, nothing burns here that is not already on fire, and wolves are free to wade through the lava without fear.
