Welcome to Vox Deus! We're so glad you've joined us. Here you can learn more about the general process of registering on our site, as well as a few tips for what to do after you're accepted.

• Read through our Essential information! This will help inform you of how the site works and whether we're a good fit for you.
• Make an account! This should be your character's name for easy tagging, but you can edit your display name later on. Please note that your display name should be your character's FIRST AND LAST NAME. OOC accounts are only for staff members - you should only have character accounts.
• After you've made your account, post your application in the main board of the Character Bank. The sub-boards (Gods, Guides and Mortals) are locked as they are for character storage. Please remember to update your app and profile with character images. The large hover image is 230x400px and the other image is 100x100px.
• Wait for one of our staff to accept your character! You may post in the application check thread to let us know, or ping us in the cbox/Discord helpdesk. There's lots of ways to get our attention.
• Staff will let you know if your character is acceptable or if you may need to make any changes. If there are changes, please make them and let staff know again when you're done!
• If you've been accepted, head on over to the Starter Power Claim to claim your first power! A staff member will post your power table in your application thread and move it to the appropriate forum in the Character Bank. Staff will take care of updating your power table as you obtain more keywords.
• You're done! You can go ahead and make your first RP thread, or here are some other things you can consider:
  
  
  • Making a Guide thread! All characters who appear on Vox Deus should have a Guide, although some do go about their business without one. It's your call. If you want to have a thread with a Guide, make an opening post and then post in the Guide Request thread, and a Guide will attend to you soon.
  • Putting together a plotter or posting in someone else's to get some inspiration going!
  • Posting in the Introductions thread - you can earn an easy $5 for introducing yourself!
  • Checking in the wanted ads or looking in the Discord #plotting channel to see if anyone needs a RP partner!
  • Consider making a pack or joining one! Unlike other sites, forming packs and claiming territories are not the main goals, although they do make up an integral part of the site and will come into play in greater detail as the site ages. If you're interested, you can read more about packs here.
  • To earn money and Evo points, you can consider doing some Quests! There are also other money-making options in the Currency Claim!
