Muscle lies thick on his bones, covered by a hide of black shading into grey on his belly and legs. His fur is already thick, but the numerous scars that cover his skin make his hair stick out and create an appearance of perpetual bed head. Grey covers his muzzle and has begun to work up his face, encroaching on eyes a dark and stormy blue-grey. [attr="class","questionanswer"]"Many of my deeds are told by recruiters hoping to tempt young wolves in to war, but are any of them truly mine? They wree all at the commands of others. Even then, they are good and great only depending on which side you're on. Many would say I have fought under shadow. I suppose I am proud that I have always completed my duty to the best of my abilities. At least I have that." What is your idea of perfect happiness? [attr="class","questionanswer"]"Perfect happiness. Does such a thing even exist? I've seen many things, been many places - even if only to conquer. I have never seen it. I suppose these old bones wouldn't mind some rest though. A few months with nothing to do but laze in the sun and feast on fresh meat." Who or what is the greatest love of your life? [attr="class","questionanswer"]"Ain't much time for love in war. Folks say having something to fight for makes you fight harder, as if that's reason to saddle yourself with a mate and pups. Idiots. I've got plenty to fight for - life. Besides, no woman could ever stand up the comraderie felt between comrades in arms. All those beneath me, younglings really, who I was responsible for - they are the closest thing to children I shall ever have, and dearer to me than any pup." What is your most marked characteristic? I remember one afternoon on the banks of the river there. The sun was so warm. It felt as if we had no cares in the world. Like we could stay there forever. I can even bring a group of wolves together, give 'em something that seems grand to follow. A reason, maybe. But it's always for someone else, never on my own account or thinking." Sometimes you've just got to buckle down and do what must be done, no matter how you might feel about it or what terror is trickling down your spine." What do you most value in your friends? Win the fight and win it fast, don't be worried about making sure your enemy gets a fair chance to kill you." On what occasions do you lie? [attr="class","questionanswer"]"Lie to children all the time. It's necessary to convince 'em to fight, that what we're doing is right. Not really children, I suppose. Seems like every year the recruits get younger, but it must be me gettin' older." If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
