"I will look into it, may I ask one more thing though? Can you tell me what it is I will have as my power or is that only for me to know?"Tamlin whuffed pondering the situation before him. Gods on his left, those jockeying to become gods on his right. It was a careful line he had to tread in order to keep his path to godhood straight. As long as he kept to himself and to his own path it couldn't turn out like last time. No packs, no leaders, just him, the sun, the moon, and the stars. It would be fine, he would be fine, and no one would get hurt. ooc: blehhh this is bad sorryRay

A wry smile tugged at the corner of Oberon's mouth at the mortal's question. The Guide did occasionally find himself able to sense the aspects that had settled deep within each individual, however he had noticed that it was much easier for him to get an idea of what a mortal's power might be if it was a physical element. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that Oberon's aspect itself was such a solid, massive element in itself. Other powers, like mind and dreams, were not so easy for him to detect. But of course, this Guide was of the persuasion that a mortal should benefit the most from discovering their godhood through their own explorations - rare special cases existed where he would give a gentle nudge in a specific direction, but otherwise Oberon was strictly for mortals learning their powers through exploration. So it did not greatly bother him that this wolf's power was yet unknown to him.
He spoke as such. "It will be in your best interest to find this out yourself," the Guide said, inclining his head. "I do not know it, but have no fear. You will learn it soon." The land would make it so. After all, he knew not of any individuals whose powers did not eventually come to them.
A very distant earthy rumble began somewhere far off, like rocks grinding against each other deep underground. Oberon's brow furrowed, one ear alert and swiveled in the direction of the noise. "I apologise but I must leave you now, to attend to some business," the Guide murmured, as un-distractedly as he could manage. The noise sounded relatively unthreatening, perhaps just some regular seismic activity, but Oberon wanted to check it out anyway. "You know my name, and you may call on me whenever you are in need of help." He did not go into detail as to how. Most times a loud shout would suffice - the earth would pick it up, anyhow. And he always kept an eye on the signatures of his charges. "For now I bid you farewell, Tamlin, and good luck." With a patter like rainfall on dry leaves, the Guide disappeared as he had come, in a shower of little pebbles.
