Alya held her childhood in the highest regard in her memories. It was a time when nothing seemed to matter, and when both of her parents were still around. Of course, just because she loved reminiscing that did not mean she wanted to be six months old again, vulnerable and now alone in the world. So, you can imagine her sheer panic as she woke up on the edge of Faded Fields in the body she held a year ago, running in circles and stirring up quite the commotion. Internally she connected the dots quickly, after meeting the trickster god this had to be some test of sorts, who else would even do this to her?
After calming down and maybe crying a little Alya started to walk, sticking low to the scrubby brush and doing her best not to be seen. If someone caught her out here with this chronic case of babyface there was no doubt that it would not at all be good for her.

Mitis was relieved to have found Kicheko. After resting up and eating, she had decided to spend some time wandering. She hadn't seen any way back, but it was okay if they were together. While wandering, she made her way through a new area entirely. It was no less odd than the forest, but that was alright. She was a lot less afraid now. Then she smelled someone else, someone young. Frowning, Mitis waddled after the scent carefully. She was aiming to avoid another tumble if she could. It was not long before she saw her. It was a child! What was a child doing out here? Was her momma nearby? Mitis snuffled as she attempted to approach the female. She made no attempts to disguise her approach. Even if she had wanted to, she was not the most graceful. "Goodbye big man!*" she cried to the girl... except that was not what she had meant to say at all. The words tumbled out of her mouth all wrong and mixed up. Gasping, she stared at the girl slack-jawed for a moment before hastily trying to correct herself. "I meant that- Yes! GOODBYE BIG MAN!**" she started, trying to get her point across but no matter what she meant it all came out backwards! What was wrong with her? Had she hit her head? She didn't remember hitting her head. She stared anxiously at the child, eyes bugging out due to their wideness. ((*Hello little girl. **I didn't mean that- No! HELLO LITTLE GIRL! Alya RevinMitis has been given the effect of reversed speech. She says the opposite of what she means to.))

It had been awhile since Alya had talked to anyone her size another wolf. That could get kind of lonely after a few months. So when someone yelled "Goodbye big man!" behind her, she only bolted to hide under a bush, instead of, say, bolting for the mountains on the far horizon. Even if they were somewhat odd maybe they didn't mean any harm to her? Hopefully, they didn't mean any harm, and Alya was confident that she could evade capture if needed. They probably didn't and Alya really really wanted to talk to someone besides the trickster god she'd encountered earlier. Safely, and a little painfully, hidden under the prickly branches a pair of distinct blue eyes watched the black wolf, who at this point appeared to be panicking severely. Maybe what had turned her into a small child was affecting them? Or did they just hit their head on something hard? Mitis Faraja

Mitis watched in distress as the female hid under a bush. Oh no... Her ears flattened and she crouched closer to the ground. Mitis didn't know what to do and her mouth opened and closed repeatedly as she attempted to decide. Should she keep talking? Were weird words going to come out again? She had probably scared the girl. It, frankly, was scaring Mitis herself. "I will hurt you." she said in a gentle voice, only those were not the words she wanted to speak. Mitis couldn't imagine hurting anyone at all. But she had just told the girl she would hurt her. What was she going to do? How could she communicate if everything was opposite? It seemed like she couldn't say anything she wanted to. She backed up a few paces, tail tucking between her legs as she tried to appear non-threatening. She would have to find Kicheko soon... maybe he would understand and know what to do. He had always accepted her no matter what. ("I won't hurt you.") Alya Revin

I will hurt you? If the yearling had given Mitis the benefit of the doubt before she sure wasn't going to now. Alya his herself further in the bush, for once grateful of the tiny form this curse had given her and started growling, sure it was the growling of a pup but she figured the intent behind it was clear at the least. What was even going on anymore? This was shaping up to be one of the weirdest months she'd ever experienced, and she had experienced a lot of months. ooc: asdfghjkl poor MitisMitis Faraja

Mitis did not miss how the girl started growling. Could she blame her? No, of course not. Anxiety licked up Mitis's spine as her words continued to come out wrong. What was wrong with her? She couldn't seem to say what she meant even though she really wanted to. Ears pinned, she was crouched low to the ground. Her tail was tucked between her legs as she remained in place. Her mind turned wildly as she tried to decide what to do. Her anxiety said run, her heart said stay. What if the girl needed her help? Mitis couldn't imagine just letting her be alone. She was a child. But was she any help if she couldn't communicate? Shaking, she decided there was only one thing to do. Kicheko had to be found so that he could help them both. Surely he would know what to do. He just had to. She couldn't imagine remaining stuck like this. With no further attempts to speak, she turned and hurried back the way she came in hopes of locating Kicheko quickly. Slow as she was, it wasn't too fast... but she was doing the best she could. Hopefully she could find him soon enough and bring him back to see the child. -attempted exit- Alya Revin
