Pepper’s face scrunched up. Was she in pain? Quartz didn’t know if her power could get rid of the sensation of pain itself, though she could speed up healing for any injuries the not-pup might have. She just needed to know where to direct her power.
The male commented that he’d found something “back there”, though he hadn’t thought to show where “back there” might be. She might be annoyed if she wasn’t so worried. They both were, and why wouldn’t they be? Pepper wasn’t in the best shape to begin with – she needed far more meat than she seemed willing to consume – and this whole situation was just terrible. So far they still had her, and she tried to content herself with that, but it was hard when everything else seemed so uncertain.
Pepper apologized and assured them she’d be all right, and Myrr was quick to reassure her as well. Quartz wagged her tail a couple times, hoping to add to the reassurance without singing it. She was so done with whatever was wrong with her!
Myrr said he’d carry Pepper, and Quartz nodded, waiting for him to do so and lead the way before following wordlessly, frowning at the place he’d found. That…was not big enough for all of them. Though she supposed it was a nice enough night out that it didn’t really matter. As long as there was room for Pepper to rest and recover.

[googlefont=Roboto][googlefont=Montserrat][googlefont=Open+Sans] [attr="class","pepper"] Pepper didn't have much room to complain. Though she felt ashamed of having to be carried, there was no fuss or flailing when Myrr's big jowls wrapped around her. Her emaciated form, at most weighing 18 pounds, dangled limply from the starting point all the way to the felled tree the brute had found. Even to her puppy-blue gaze she could tell it wasn't big enough to fit all of them, but trying to guide the group from the jaws of the male wouldn't get them anywhere. It would be good enough for the night, thus there was no objection when the youth was placed within the nest. Perhaps if she was healthier, back to normal, then Pepper would of argued the sleeping arrangements. After all, to cause further inconveniences itched toward her fear of being a burden. However, she was smart enough to know that they wouldn't allow her to sleep anywhere but inside the nest with the state she was in and argued with herself that this wasn't her fault. Whoever had placed these curses upon the land was causing large amounts of trouble. Again, Pepper was snatched from thought at the actions of the duo. Myrr unveiled a mole in which he quickly proffered to her. Now that was something she could deny. "No, I'm still alright from the doe." Which was true since she had never been one to eat much anyways; plus, the scrawny creature was largely against taking prey that she didn't help down. tags: @quartz Myrrwords: 251 notes: we can start finishing off this thread or keep going if y'all want ; i imagine they'll just go to sleep [newclass=.pepper]max-height:400px;color:#E1DFD8;text-align:justify;padding:10px;width:440px;font-family:Open Sans;font-size:10px;overflow:auto;background:#000;opacity:.5[/newclass] [newclass=.pepper b]color:#843a30;text-shadow: 0px 0px 2px;font-family:montserrat;letter-spacing:1px;[/newclass] [newclass=.pepper i]color:#dc2f18; font: 11px Roboto; font-style: italic;[/newclass] [newclass=.pepper::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background-color: #fff; width:1px; [/newclass] [newclass=.pepper::-webkit-scrollbar]width: 5px; height: 5px; background: #ccc; border: 3px solid #f0f0f0;[/newclass] [newclass=.pepper::-webkit-scrollbar-corner]background: #ccc; border: 2px solid #ccc;[/newclass]

Though neither female voiced there objections to the location, Myrr knew they were not entirely pleased with it. He didn't know what they disliked about it but felt judged for it. Normally the brute would care little for the thoughts and opinions of others but this time he took it a little more personally. It didn't help, either, when Pepper refused his offering. He shouldn't have taken offense to that. It could be very well and true that she was still sated from the doe. But he still felt dampened. He was doing his best given his muddled thoughts and these wayward emotions weren't helping. As it was, the star dusted male curled up outside of the den, his back facing the others. Unless directly addressed he would remain still and silent. If either of them knew anything of the powers dipping into emotions then they might pick up on the dampness clouding his vision. It was the first time in a while that tears obscured his sight but the male didn't know what else to do. For the first time since loosing everything he wanted to believe he had found friends. The starting to a family. And he felt that he had ruined those chances by failing them. Curse his toyed with brain...
TAG: @quartz, PepperOOC: I'm fine with letting that be my last post.

It was telling that Pepper just let everything happen as it did. Quartz did her best to monitor the other female, though she seemed more-or-less healthy. Well, other than being underfed, de-aged, and exhausted, none of which were things she could instantly help with.
Pepper refused the mole she’d been offered, and the male curled up outside the den, facing away from them both. She looked between the two, not quite sure what to do about this situation. Part of her still deeply distrusted Myrr, but he had gone above and beyond for Pepper and that meant something. Far more than she cared to admit even to herself in the mood she was currently in. Anyway, instinct would have nudged her to be the one to stay outside the den, but she was the only one she knew of that had managed to develop healing powers and it would be easier to tend to Pepper if she remained at the other female’s side, so she reluctantly slipped into the nest and curled up beside her friend, letting out a heavy sigh.
Tomorrow. They could sort all of this out tomorrow. Right now, sleep was probably the best course of action for all of them.
((Exit?))
